Building Permits

The Bradford County Building Department requires permits for the purpose of ensuring that you have complied with the State and County Regulations for building and that you will have the proper inspections when needed. The table below shows a general description of works that require a permit.

A culvert permit number is required prior to issuance of a building permit. You can download the culvert permit and price list at www.bradford-co-fla.org (Road Department). Once the Road Department receives the permit application, a site visit will be scheduled to determine size and price.

Mobile Home Download Mobile Home Packet	Any new set-up and any change-out. All Mobile Homes must be permitted.
Electrical Download Permit Application	Any installation, addition or major/minor repair.
Demolition Download Permit Application	Any full or partial demolition of a structure.
Plumbing Download Permit Application	Any installation, addition or major/minor repair.
Mechanical Download Permit Application	Any installation, addition or major/minor repair.
Gas Download Permit Application	Any installation, addition or major/minor repair.
Swimming Pool Download Pool Construction Packet	Any new construction and any structural change or repair.
Sign Download Permit Application	Any new construction and any structural change or repair.
Alarm Download Permit Application	Any new installation, any panel changes, and any additions to existing systems.
Roofing Download Permit Application	Any replacement or repair of more than 100 square feet for a residential project. Any commercial installation or major/minor repair.
General Download Permit Application	Any installation or addition including but not limited to screen enclosures, storage, etc.
